Thomas Raymond "Fitzy" Fitzgerald, 77, of Plainfield CT, formerly of West Warwick, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023. She was also a member of the Foster Grandparent Program from 1990-1998. Her years in the field of education completed, she did pastoral ministry to the elderly and infirm, AIDS ministry, pastoral care and hospital chaplaincy in a variety of settings in Kansas and Wisconsin. Sister Rita Kramer, CSA, formerly Sister Sara, died peacefully January 26, at St. Francis Home, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. She did post-graduate studies in counseling at Fort Hays State College, Hays, Kansas, and received a certificate in pastoral counseling from Cardinal Meyer Institute, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After completing her years in educational ministry, she worked for seven years at St. Bernard Parish, Madison, Wisconsin, making pastoral visits to the elderly.
